Contact Martin @ Tick Performace, he'll help you pick a good setup.

The sns stage 2 or 3 cam would give you great power and still drive fine. You could also look at TSP stage 1 ls6 heads

How much work are you willing to do yourself? You'll save THOUSANDS doing it on your own. If you pay someone else to do it you will hit that $3500 mark pretty quick! I did all my own engine work and I had little to no mechanical experience with engines. All it takes is time, patience, the brains on this forum, and the right tools. I went with 799 heads and a Brian Tooley Stage IV cam. Got the FAST 92 with a NW 92mm tb as well. Will be having it dynode and tuned sometime in February.

consider Texas Speed ls6 st 1 heads with a torquer v3 cam .or use a ed curtis street sweeper cam.or look at a vengeance racing trick flow head/valve train pkg.you will need bigger injectors and a better fuel pump.you will need a tune .

Don't for get the nitrous and the stuff you need to run it like blow down tub a way to pull timing different plugs... if you got 3500 to spend save an extra $500 for the unexpected things gaskets extra bolts and ect

My "build" had me up to 6500 and it started with a plan like yours. It snowballed very quickly. I am now up to 9 and think I will be closer to 11 at the end of this coming season.
