Default 6.0 parts

I am still purchasing parts for a 6.0 install in my 02 TransAm, the 5.7 has metal shavings in the oil. The 6.0 is a brand new, 0 miles, factory replacement engine. The question is should I do the rocker arm trunion upgrade and obtain a ported oil pump? Car is a driver only, no racing, just looking to improve reliability. Any other parts I should consider upgrading?

I would only upgrade the rocker bearings if you are running an aftermarket/performance cam.

On the oil pump, assuming it's new with the engine, I would not bother replacing it.

Stock cam and yes, the oil pump is new. Makes life easier, just install the new engine. I have to swap over the oil pan, accessories, crankshaft pulley and intake, but the rest of the engine can be left intact. Thanks.
