Is this head repairable?
Is this head repairable? Just bought these 317's from a member here, while taking them apart to clean them I found this:
I don't blame the seller, these have not been apart in a long time. Just wanting to know if its fixable OR if its even economical.

You have them sitting bare and something fell on them?
ya for sure, if its not cracked, there no real casting there to "fix" the head. its all the seat there. Unless you wnat to try to use that seat, hard to tell in the pic for deep the damage is. getto cheap, you would have to sink it to get centric again and clean out. And thats performance suicide, and getto, so you dont what to run that. You can put a new seat in it, the seat is cheap as ****, but you have to machine it out, and thats some time. so unless you you can run the machine to do the labor to cut it out, thats gona eat up the economical right there. But you just hammer in the new one and have the VJ cut all of them, (thats 250-300) I dont think anyone would touch up that one...... so you can get a stock 317 for 50-100$ to get back the stock, so.......
