Default Time for a new cam!!!

OK guys I'm ready to buy a cam and need some ideas on what to get. This will be for a 2004 CTS-V that has a 125 shot, magnaflows, T56, LS7 clutch, and cold air. I want it to be a mild cam so i can drive the car on the street everyday.

I had the TR224 in my camaro and was pretty happy with it. Just would like everyones advise with the best street cam to go with and with spray.

What would you want different or the same as the TR224 you had in your Camaro?

Also what was the LSA on that TR224, 112 or 114?

I'd run something like a Comp LSL/XE 223/230 112+2... It'd drive nice, make more power than a TR224, make good torque in the LS6 to get the CTS-V moving, and work well with the nitrous.

The TR had a 112 LSA...Like I said i loved it but i was just reaching out to see if anyone has had better experiance with another cam working well with nitrous.

Here's my recommendation, it's a little milder.
222/228 113lsa+4 with LXL intake lobes and XE(highlift) lobes for the exhaust. This cam will have a IVC of 40, just like your old TR224 112lsa cam, and it'll have -1* overlap, slightly less than the TR224(0* OL) had.

For a shelf grind take a look at the Lunati VooDoo #20540711 (222/228 113lsa+4, lift .567"/.567")
