Use Diamond. Never worry about quality.

JE = SRP, you cant go wrong with them, one of the best. A few others that are great:

Wiseco
Manley
Diamond
KB Icons are pretty nice these days, they have came a long way on the forged pistons.

Wiseco is probably the best shelf piston for the LS motor for a 2618 alloy forging. Diamond's custom stuff is really nice as well.

Mahle has a really nice 4032 forging for NA motors.

And RaceTec is a good company as well... guy who founded JE now runs it.

Are the Mahle 4032s a low expansion forging ? If so, has ANYONE ever hear any coldstarts with these on any 4.oo strokers ? actually quiet ?

thanks,
Jim
