Default Super 7 Lock

I'm going thru a set of 317s for a project using Patriot gold spring kit
titanium retainers with 7* locks. I'm one lock short of having every thing
I need. Anyone know where to get one? If you have one you will sell PM me.

Default Problem Solved

Patriot closed up and was bought by Promaxx. After I figured that out and
called them they told me if I was not in a hurry they would put 5 of them
in an envelope and send them by snail mail for free. Nice people Customer service really can't get any better than free parts.

I had a whole set of them I would have sent you, but I tossed them all when one split in two, which they're known for doing.

Went with BTR Platinums and stock locks and never looked back

I went with BTR platinum's on my car the Patriot's are left over from some low mileage 243s I bought for it. Those springs are more than enough for the 210\218 .531 Crane Cam I'm putting in a '04 Silverado SS. Brian's
post touting the plus sides of using stock locks still haunts me though.
I have not heard about the Super 7s breaking, I could see it easily happening with someone else's locks as everyone seems to make there's a little different so only there locks work with the retainers they sell.

I don't think DR was talking about the locks, I'm pretty sure he was referring to the retainers splitting. I have heard of this as well.

I should have been a bit more clear.

I literally had a super 7 lock split in two. One half (a quarter of a lock) hit me below the left eye, and the other quarter thankfully zipped to the wall and then the floor.

While strong, they're brittle and as mentioned, don't allow the valves to rotate.

I'll take the stock locks any day.

The super 7's were on some AFR 8017's I tossed in the trash.
