Default G5 cam.. What kind of lobes does it have.

Is the G5 cut with XEr lobes? I am looking into swapping out of my TSP228R with XEr lobes to something softer on my valvetrane. Anyone know?

TIA, James

If you get this cam you'll have to swap to the dual spring setup anyway so just buy the whole kit and forget about it

Sorry man should of kept my sig in there. I already have the dual springs. My concern is the damn sewing machine sound which is the valve slapping the seat. My issue is I daily drive it and am trying to tame down a bit and get more miles out of my stuff

I don't think LG's G series cams are on the XE-R lobes. The X series are. Are you asking about the G5 cam or the G5X2?

224 XE-R lobe on the intake, 230 XE lobe exhaust.
