Hey guys im new on here. I recently purchased a 99 Trans Am with the LS1 5.7 its an automatic. It has long tubes, full SLP Exhuast, Intake, 4.10 gears, and a 3200 stall and a tune not sure from who. Loving every min of it. Looking forward to meeting new people and getting advice to expand my knowledge. I do have one question though the trans acts like it skips second or that second is not there but the fluid is bright red and doesnt smell burnt or anything else. If you run through the column manually it still skips second gear so I was just wondering if anyone had an idea as to what might be going on. Could shift points be off or solenoid gone bad?
