Default head questions

Im about to pull my heads off and replace my lifters and lifter trays to try and fix a noise I had after doing a cam swap. I suspect a lifter has shifted in its place and is making a whining noise. It may not fix it but I had a couple lifters that wouldn't stay up while doing the swap so atleast this will fix that problem.

My question is.... is my xr259hr comp cam too small to warrant some nice heads while I've got them off? And then I may eventually get a bigger cam down the road, maybe sooner if the cam shows abnormal wear from the lifter.

If so which are the best bang for your buck head now a days? SDPC has a nice pair and so does TSP?

Thanks
