Im sorry for a repeat thread, but i need help. I read one time before about someone using a insect sprayer from walmart to prime engine with. Can someone help me out with details of what exactly to buy & where to hook it up to on my block to prime bearings & lifters & all?

There should be assembly lube on everything, so it's not like it's going to be a dry start.

Just leave the plugs out and crank it over to prime and be done with it

If you assembled with assembly lube you should be good. You'll build pressure almost instantly when it starts.

I just let the starter kick mine over in 3-5 second bursts to not destroy the starter and to prime the oil pump with the fuel injectors and ignition unplugged. It fired right up.

This is a good way of doing it, its called a pre luber. A pressurized system which gets the oil throughout the engine/crevices. You can do it like others listed, but this is a reusable system and preferred method by most builders.

Look in the Tool section as someone showed a simple pump from Harbor Freight that pre lubed the engine easily and affordably.
