241 Heads vs. 317 castings I am going to be building a shortblock so I will be able to use either head to reach my desired comp ratio but which head will perform better? Which head flows more?

whats your desired compression. theres about a 4cc difference between the heads.

The 241 is your basic 99+ LS1 Head. The 317 head flows more and lowers the compression. The 317, 243 & 035 heads flow the same. The 035 is a die cast where the 317 is a sand cast (with the die cast being a better casting type). The 243 head is the LS6 head.
