Default 241 Heads vs. 317 castings

I am going to be building a shortblock so I will be able to use either head to reach my desired comp ratio but which head will perform better? Which head flows more?

The 317 will flow better stock for stock and ported for ported in most lift ranges.
Do a search it will help. The button is very good to use.

The 241 is your basic 99+ LS1 Head. The 317 head flows more and lowers the compression. The 317, 243 & 035 heads flow the same. The 035 is a die cast where the 317 is a sand cast (with the die cast being a better casting type). The 243 head is the LS6 head.

I'm not sure how to post a picture, hopefully I can do it right
