Default Building a 408 stroker nitrous motor

I know i can do a search on 408 stroker and find alot of info but im wanting to tell u guys what parts i already have and built it off that. Iam looking to build a mainly drag car but still be able to take it down the street a few times a year. The parts i have.
.are AFR 215 heads, (with heavy springs) 102 lsxr intake, Nw 102 tb, 60lb injectors, longtube headers, 200 shot nos system, (but going to a 2 stage with at least 400 shot) msd wires, built 4L60E( I Know that wont last long....lol) 4000 stall, 410 gears 28x10.5x15 slicks. Basically im looking for a good set of nitrous pistons, rods, cam combo. Im taking all the parts i listed off my 5.7 solid roller motor. It will be a 1/8 mile car. Run a 6.86@103mph with this 5.7 setup. Im looking for aleast a low 6's car. Id really appreciate any info or ideas u guys can give me or lead me in the right direction. Thank you

Default 408 stroker

I hear ya, I have the same plan you have with building a motor. I'm building a 408 iron block for my T/A. But this will be a street/strip set up. I used Callies compstar crank, Ultra H Beam rods, Wiseco piston, king LS bearings. I hope this helps you. My upper half I'm running PRC l92/ls3 heads cathedral port with 750 lift spring kit, Comp cam ultra gold rockers fast 102 intake, Nick Williams 102 throttle body same trans but build like a tank Percision industries 3800 stall. When i had this motor done i wanted it built to take hard hits, 2 stage kit 500hp it should be installed and tuned in a couple weeks. I will post more when done.
