Engine swap questions I'd really like some advice. I am about to swap to a 6.0L in my pickup but I want to do a few minor mods to it for a lil more boost. I know I'm gonna put headers and probably a cam. My questions are which brands on headers should I buy and what size cam would be best without having to buy new push rods and lifters. Any advice is welcomed.
Don't call Comp, the vast majority of the 1-800 line people are just there to read the catalog for you. People who are happy with that just don't know any better.
If needing to buy pushrods is a dealbreaker on a cam then don't bother doing a cam because you aren't prepared to do it right.

You could run an "Ol Man cam' from GM. It has lope and most importantly very soft ramps so you could run it with LS6 spring which are less than $100 for the whole set. You can keep your retainers.
