How important is it to chamfer flycuts?

Default How important is it to chamfer flycuts?

Wondering if it's really necessary. Figure that a chamfer would add clearance for any slight amount of valve float (if it exists) & remove a sharp edge that could be a hot point on the cylinder. Anyone not chamfer their flycuts?
