I have a lead on a set of them, Mast 215's with upgraded hollow stem intake valves, Inconel exhaust valves, dual springs...

Haven't really seen much of anything though power or track wise posted about them. Just ETP's.

11* valve angle makes me REALLY happy though... And ****, it's Mast. It HAS to make power, right?

**edited to correct valve angle**

I think those might be the same heads my buddy has on his goat. They were like almost 3k IIRC.

Mast makes some really nice heads. They represent the pinnacle of LS architecture. It seems they are at the very top of the food chain; budget wise and car parts more often than not are "get what you pay for". PRC, AFR, and TFS are all quality pieces but there's got to be something to Cary C. bringing his ETP experience to MAST. Kinda like when Harold Brookshire (Ultradyne) went to Lunati...I've used a bunch of their cams with his grind numbers and they all rocked. Can't really think of any dyno test or article where the Mast stuff didn't make crazy power.
Sssooooo ahh....what kinda recipe are you brewing in that couldron of yours?

Don't get any better.

11* valve angle on the 215's I believe too. There was a guy on corvetteforum that ran the ETP 215's, EDC Streetsweeper and a FAST 92 IIRC…511rwhp/455rwtq out of a stock bottom 346. Don't think there was anything exotic. I'll try to find a link..

TFS heads have made just as much power as the old ETP heads with similar camshafts. Basically, you're getting the same thing.

Whether or not Ed wants to do anything with TFS is the question. And the answer is no. He is a MAST fan, so there you go.

Yeah... Added bonus is the additional PTV with the Mast's vs the TFS as well...

Sub'd. I'd love to see how Mast 215's do on anything! I've never seen reported results!

Ai heads were swapped from PI 215s (Cary's attempt after ETP) and the AI heads picked up over them. So I don't know what to make of that.

My buddy made 495 rwhp on his 6.0 GTO with the Mast 215's, custom cam, and Fast 92.

Are you going to make yourself that very unique pleasure?

Correct, my initial build was with 215 ETP from Carry, through Ed Curtis...
Engine made 511 rwhp and so and so!!!!

BTW...the cylinder heads on my actual 418 CiD are the same ETP 215 ported now to 240 +...and still producing some insane numbers!!!

I'd like to keep that under wraps for the time being

This is prob going to get put on hold for a bit. Apparently the leaking window in my master is actually coming from the deck in the above bedroom. Yey me.

Sucky. Spending money to fix things hurts. Spending money to go fast feels excellent.
