Default cam?

Hey guys, so I had a quick question. My car has some small odd ball things to it now, I recently bought a 02 t/a 4a. I was curious is there a way to tell it has an aftermarket cam in it without taking it apart. Hears some things that lead me to this question:
My car idles at right around 500-550 thought maybe this was kind of low?
The acceleration really picks up at around 2500-3000+ rpm
The car sounds louder then it should on the stock exhaust I would think
The car itself has a slight rocking to it while the motor is idleing
And when my a/c is on it kicks rpm to around 470ish (wasn't sure if that's normal first ls1 car)
Thanks in advance

I would but I don't know any good dyno places were I live, plus unfortunately anything I do to this car is on the back burner for now, was just curious if there was any particular way to tell, but I also forgot to mention it makes a slight wining noise when I open it up fully right around 2500 when it starts picking up very quickly, don't know if that's normal

Sounds stock. You're describing the LS1.

Ok cool, this being my first ls1 car I just wanted to know if that was normal for the car or not. Good to know though just means no one else's messed with it yet, I'm only the 2nd owner so it works out thanks again

You could install a dial indicator on the end of the rocker arm where the pushrod meets it and rotate the engine over by the crank bolt and take lift readings. Most aftermarket cams wont have stock ls cam lift.

I think the lifter would start to bleed down before max lift.

Well the whine starts at about 2500-3000 rpm it's faint but audible it happens when the car really starts picking up with the throttle opened all the way it's not a p/s whine doesn't sound remotely close too it plus mines topped off no leakage
