Junkyard LQ4 Found a junkyard LQ4 complete engine.
Owner says possible timing chain broke but hasn't looked. If timing chain did break can I just drop oil pan and look for damage. My worry is more than bent valves.

Haha, you had me wondering. I kinda left off the ? mark at the end...
I was hoping I could take the easy way out and just drop the pan.
Guy only wants $650 but I think I could get him lower.
Should 799 heads be on this? It's from an 02 truck.
