Default Cam Identification

Bought my SS about a year ago. Long story short, a powersteering leak took out my alt. Decided to do the truc kalt. mod and replace powersteering pump. So I decided while I'm this far might as well see what cams in here. Get everything off to expose cam and there are no markings or numbers on the front of it. Would it be on the back? If I cant identify it, any suggestions for a new cam? Car specs are: 862 5.3 heads milled for 11.1 comp., slp UDP, P&P tb, ls6 intake, hooker headers, 3.73's, 3800 vig., couple of other things not pertaining to the engine. Weekend cruiser not a daily driver. Also will be running nitrous.

Well i'm running those exact same heads but with 11.5:1 compression, 4.10's and a 6-speed. The cam i'm running is almost identical to the MS3 cam, and it's a great combo!

Did you have to flycut the pistons to work with that cam?

In my case yes, but it's because i'm running a LQ9 6.0. With the LS1 you shouldn't have to
