While i was reinstalling my intake manifold i broke my old sending unit went to autozone bought a new one and just installed it, before the car always had 40+ psi at idle for some reason now the car has like 60+on idle and almost 80psi at WOT. The oil pressure needle does go up and down as i rev it. Should i just change it for another one?

 

Is your oil pump stock? Are the new pressure readings when cold or hot?
