Default "Project LT1 to LS1 conversion". Who wants some?

Letting the cat out of the bag today.
Well after all these years, I've decided to pull the LT1 and build a boosted LS1 for my 95 Z28.

The goal is 600RWHP on a Mustang dyno with emphasis on mid-range torque cause I don't want to break traction at high RPM and grenade the 10-bolt. The engine builder told me that the only way to emphasize mid-range torque is to go turbo build with Edlebrock heads since this will modulate the air flow velocity through the intake runners and create a better cyclonic effect in the combustion chambers. I don't know what that really means, but it sounds really cool.

As great as that all sounds, we still have one last turd in the churn to flush. Mileage...got to have awesome gas mileage. So then the critical details started to get a little funky.

He said that we would need a secondary ignition system to counter "spark blow-out" similar to what they deal with in NHRA top-fuel cars. So he adapted my old Optispark to provide secondary voltage to the spark-plugs so that any spark blow-out does not disrupt my gas mileage. At first I was opposed to this. I mean seriously, a fuc@ing opti on an LS1, you must be smoking crack. But it was explained to me that the opti would only be working in a supplementary capacity so I would not ever encounter the dreaded DTC32 (code of death). Sounds like a winner if it works.

My specs
-Hypereutectic dome pistons
-13.1 compression ratio
-Wilson Tech-Formance budget Racing turbo kit with Tile blow-off gates.
-Turned Eagle cast crankshaft
-Bauer stage 5 "disintegrator" camshaft
-Comp 918 beehive "blue stripe" valvesprings
-Melling HV oil pump
-Edlebrock Performer budget ported heads
-Optispark auxiliary ignition for enhanced flame kernal
