rear cover seal
rear cover seal Sorry for the rookie question, but I'm second quessing myself.
The rear cover seal install is driving me nuts. Does anyone have a "diagram" or something that shows how the seal goes onto the crank
I'm pretty sure the seal was installed correctly (shop did it) but when installing it onto the engine, it was tougher than anyone eluded to.
Is the large seal "lip" supposed to face OUTWARD? It didn't really "want" to go either way, but I took a small screwdriver and slip the lip "out" and it went on.
