Default Fast 102 manifold clearance issues (LS6)

I'm in the latter stages of my cam/head swap, and it's finally come time to install the Fast 102 manifold into my LS6 CTS V.

BUT

After following all instructions (including replacing the valley cover bolts with the lower profile bolts in the Fast assembly kit), I still get a wicked gap between the intake ports on the heads (Trickflow 220's) and the manifold. I pulled the 102 off of the car and inspected the area, trying to find the cause of the problem. It appears the washers in the ARP head bolt kit I used may be the culprit (See attached image).

Anyone else run into similar problems? Am I going to have to dremel out a notch for each washer? Or have i completely overlooked something simple?

Any/all help is always greatly appreciated.

Yeah, those bolt washers shouldn't protrude past the intake mounting surface. I'd get a call into TFS as I'm sure that ARP will tell you their bolts are not the issue.

Odd. I have an LS6, Trick Flow 215s, ARP head bolts, and a FAST 102 intake and I did not have this problem. Or could it be that I do have this problem, and I just missed it. I hate this thread already.

Also, I realize I probably posted this in the wrong sub-forum. Oops.

Mine also didn't fit because of the coolant cross over was in the way I got the rear blocked off with the to fronts going to radiator
