Default Can you ID this cam?

I picked up an LS camshaft from a fellow who told me it's an LS6 cam. I'd really like to confirm that before I install it in my LS1 engine. It has no company name on it. On one end is an irregularly-patterned checkerboard-looking imprint. I'm supposing that's some kind of fancy computer code. There's a kludgy-looking "E" stamped in it, and some other stamp that's indecipherable, then a very neatly stamped letter-number code in three rows.

The top row is 4529.
The second row is S 01.
The third row is 5025.

I've attached an image…

Can anybody help me decode these numbers and ID this cam? If it is an LS6 cam, where can I find the specs?

Finally (and I know I'm opening up a can of worms here): is this a decent cam for my intended installation? It's a 5.7 LS1 mostly stock in an '86 Jeep Comanche longbed 4WD pickup, NV3550 5-speed, 3.55 rear end. I'm not a high-rpm drag racer. I want it to haul my 2500-lb. boat & other loads up and down mountains without bogging.

I also wanted to run an ls6 cam (2004 z06) in my truck. After buying the cam then doing the research, I found it not to be ideal. Its spec'd for a lightweight vette designed for top end. Its pretty much the opposite of what you'd want for a truck. At least thats what a handful of members here told me. I opted not to take a chance, and have a custom ground cam made exactly for my application.

I get the high rpm part. I had a Miata that wasn't awake until 4000 rpm. Not good for a truck. Curb weight on my Comanche will be north of 3300 lbs. But the 2001 'Vette is a not-so-svelte 3100-3250 lbs. Of course different loaded, but not far from the neighborhood empty.

Justthereforinfo: tell me about your cam. Is it duplicable? Price? Supplier? And why didn't you get an off-the-shelf cam that had an rpm range that started around 1500 rpm?

From my novice and superficial reading and comparing of cams, it appears that you can find cams that advertise a power band from 2000-6000 rpm. I'm avoiding all of those. But there are a few that start and advertised range around 1500 rpm. Are those more truck-oriented? Will they be "enough"? Or do I need to look for a better one?

I'm not opposed to doing the "research", but I don't feel like I know enough to evaluate raw specs. I know I want a torque/hp curve that starts low and stays as flat as possible, but I don't know what kind of cam specs would generate that pattern and still give me plenty of overall hp.

Is there a 1x reluctor right in front of the rear bearing journal? Probably not if it is a LS2 cam. If it is a LS2 cam you will have to run a timing cover cam sensor with the cam gear that has the reluctor.
