Can you ID this cam?
The top row is 4529.
The second row is S 01.
The third row is 5025.
I've attached an image…
Can anybody help me decode these numbers and ID this cam? If it is an LS6 cam, where can I find the specs?
Finally (and I know I'm opening up a can of worms here): is this a decent cam for my intended installation? It's a 5.7 LS1 mostly stock in an '86 Jeep Comanche longbed 4WD pickup, NV3550 5-speed, 3.55 rear end. I'm not a high-rpm drag racer. I want it to haul my 2500-lb. boat & other loads up and down mountains without bogging.

Justthereforinfo: tell me about your cam. Is it duplicable? Price? Supplier? And why didn't you get an off-the-shelf cam that had an rpm range that started around 1500 rpm?
From my novice and superficial reading and comparing of cams, it appears that you can find cams that advertise a power band from 2000-6000 rpm. I'm avoiding all of those. But there are a few that start and advertised range around 1500 rpm. Are those more truck-oriented? Will they be "enough"? Or do I need to look for a better one?
I'm not opposed to doing the "research", but I don't feel like I know enough to evaluate raw specs. I know I want a torque/hp curve that starts low and stays as flat as possible, but I don't know what kind of cam specs would generate that pattern and still give me plenty of overall hp.
