Upgrading the clutch now would be a REALLY good idea.

My original LS1 clutch broke as I was doing some "spirited" driving and the splined hub in the clutch disc actually separated from the rest of the disc. The LS6 that was most recently in there slipped on the dyno and limited me to the numbers in my sig.

I prefer a good twin disk clutch myself. I'm running a McLeod RST

I would look into a clutch also, my LS6 clutch was useless when I did H/C. It would just stick to the floor when I got on it. And that was when I was at 420rwhp. I put in a TDP stage 2 but I should have went with a stage 3 to plan for future mods. Only good thing about the 2 is it drives like stock.

H/C and clutch is gonna run you ~3k if you do it yourself.

I have a SPEC stage 1 going in mine now. It's rated for like 600ft-lbs.

The Monster Stage 2 I had in the Camaro making 460/420 never even batted an eye no matter how I drove it. Wife could drive it too. Nice smooth engagement.

Go to a 3 though if you're ever planning a shot. The 2's are NOT recommended for a N2O hit
