Mechanics of the Cam
Mechanics of the Cam Hey guys, I'm in the process of buying my 1st cam (just missed 2 deals so far), and have had some absolutely killer advice from a lot of you already (jrp especially 
) I'm trying to understand what the different numbers on a cam mean, so I can stop bugging people w/ questions about them. But trying to learn about cams on the internet is kind of like trying to learn how to shoot a rifle by reading the directions..... Nothing really translates. Are there any good learning tools out there on the net that I've not found yet, or do you guys have a good way of remembering what does what? 
Anything would be helpful. I live in California, so smog regulations require a very tight understanding of what I'm getting myself into. Thanks in advance.
