Anybody running that cam in a 6.0? I've got a MS4 but I'd like to get away from LSK lobes and pick up a little power. Those of you that have this cam in a 6.0/370 how's the driveablity?

I'm running a TMS 370/6.0 with a cam very similar to the MS4, and really wouldn't want to go much bigger...and that's with 4.10's and a 6-speed. Isn't that maybe a little too much cam for your setup?

I had the MS4 in the 346 and was happy with the way it drove. I figured the few extra cubes would eat up more of the duration and I wanted to get the most top end power I could since its mainly a track car. I've seen a few trucks running that cam in 370s but they were all running single plane intakes and I've heard that helps eat up the duration to. I'm kinda torn I'd just like to get away from the LSK lobes if possible without losing any power.

I'd probably go with something like the Polluter v2 from Tick. The lobe combo and valve events on that will make a lot of power in a 370 without beating up things. It's a 239/244 112+3. So it may not make any more power over the MS4, but I think it'd be a little easier on the motor.

Another option is the F16 from Futral. I was just looking through some old GMHTP cam shootout articles and it was up 15 HP over a Vindicator (which makes good power). the F16 is a 238/242 112 cam and should be a little easier on the valvetrain than LSK lobes.
EPS also has a 242/246 .604"/.607" 111+3 that would work well or a 236/248 111+3 using their lobes.
