lq4 l92 build in progress So for the last week i had an itch to get an ls motor built, Monday i started opening up the wallet!
6.0 lq4 is where im starting
ls2 pistons .030 over
l92 heads shaved .015
l92 intake with fast 42lbs injectors,spacers,plug in adapters, and 90mm throttle body
ls2 chain
ls7 lifters
ESP Cam 222-230 59x 60x 112+4 (have not ordered cam, hopefully tomorrow!)
3200 stall 4l80e
Probably run stock valve covers for now along with truck front drive as its going back into the truck the motor came from.
all in all, have about $2700 in parts, minus head gaskets, and not a whole heck of a lot more in machining since do quite a bit of business with machine shop
Hoping for over 500 crank horsepower!

i think $500 will clean up the rest,(minus tune, i have efi live but will have a tune made) so you are right $3500 for 500hp
im using stock bottom end
hopefully be able to sell the old stuff for $300
