Which spring would be the best to use with a 224/228 cam with .581/.588 lift? I'm thinking 918's but would almost like to go with a dual, just in case of spring breakage, but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

The Crane dual is a good general-purpose spring, and the lift you're running is well within their operating range. Thunder Racing (sponsor) will sell you a whole kit including the springs, retainers, seals, etc. For a few extra $$ they'll even rate-test the springs and ensure you get a matched set.

I'm running their kit, plus Manley locks just for extra insurance.

 

I heard the patriot golds are also very good. Price is also a plus!

 

For $295 you can get the Patriot "GOLD" dual spring package.IMO,this is the best spring,regardless of price.
