Default DId a cam install this weekend

and the damn 5/16' rod wouldnt slide down the pass side. It went in like butter on the drivers side but not the pass side. Anyone have any clues as to why?

some say you have to grind flat the top and or bottom of the rod...try a search i remember something about it.

We tried with it flat that didnt work then We put a point on it to make sure it slid down easier. Still dindt help. Drivers side wen t right in pass side didnt

The exact same thing happened to me a week ago, driver's side went in, passenger didn't. Luckily i had some 3/16 rod and velcro too cause i wanted to try both and see which worked better. The velcro rod went in perfect.
