DId a cam install this weekend

DId a cam install this weekend and the damn 5/16' rod wouldnt slide down the pass side. It went in like butter on the drivers side but not the pass side. Anyone have any clues as to why?

We tried with it flat that didnt work then We put a point on it to make sure it slid down easier. Still dindt help. Drivers side wen t right in pass side didnt
