What is your budget? You looking to go cathedral or square port? Mast heads are pricey, but they make killer power on the right combo.

TFS 235 would be my first choice. LS3s, PRC 247s, and AFR 230s would all be nice also.

Looking to get cathedral ports. Well my budget is set at 3k. I'm sure that's enough for decent heads.

T.E.A. TFS, PRC 227, small bore ls3, as cast 220's with turned down ls3 valves from Mr. Tooley would be killer. All would make great power within a couple of horsepower of eachother probably.

i would go tfs over the prc heads... you can see my mods in my sig... just right at 500 and wont make any more than that unless i lean it out... i'm set at 11.9-12 afr due to the fear from the crappy gas we have nowdays... i went with the prc cuz it saved me money since i got the whole setup from tsp... i feel that tfs may do a little better job with their heads including quality control

We have made 525 on a 408 with some custom CNC LS3 stock castings. no need to break the bank to make power, but the right camshaft is needed. With those same heads made well over 585 on an LS3/427 so they are no slouch.
As for the aftermarket heads though I would likely say either of the trick flows, either cathedral or their newer LS3 port head. Both should perform beyond your expectations.
The MAST heads are VERY popular right now and we do have good prices on them etc etc, but I would recommend those first two options first....but make sure you put a quality camshaft with them. We can hook you up with any of that if you need it as well.
