Default LS1 Harmonic Balancer?

On this post https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-diagrams.html it shows a weight for the manual trans version of an LS1. How the heck do you know how much weight to add if you are swapping an engine that was in an automatic application into a manual application? The only way I know of is to diss-assemble the engine and have the crank balanced. That ain't happening.

I can't remember which vette's had the weights, but 99% of the people here buy a balanced clutch/flywheel or harmonic balancer and just slap it on.

What is your application?

Isn't the LS1 internally balanced? If so, then it doesn't matter which flywheel, flex plate, or balancer you use.
