Default Need opinion

Im putting back my motor and wondering if i should install new rings or just run the motor how it is heres some pics of the cylinder walls i already have 3.905 pistons in it. Also thinking of replacing the main and rod bearings.

you should at least hone each cylinder and yes put new rings its kind of cheap insurance,that way you know they will seal if you use the old ones and they are not in the same place they may not seal . good luck bro

You're trying to build a 600+hp small block. That's a tall order. You won't get there by skimping on things like piston rings.

If you want that high powered engine to last, you need quality components. Like new main and rod bearings.

Don't try and cheap out now.

ended up dropping engine at the shop getting everything new on it

using tpi alternator and truck offset crank pulley
fbody has fbody offset. can use either offset.
can use tpi/ ls truck or ls fbody alternators
