LS7 lifters work?

LS7 lifters work? I'm putting a 408 together, 251/259 cam so I plan on turning alot of rpm. I have a set of LS7 lifters all ready but if they're a better option I'd go ahead and upgrade. This will be mainly a track car but sees some street use.
