Better do some other valvetrain upgrades. A spring that stiff is going to put your pushrods through hell.

So besides the hotcam and springs, a you suggest a set of hardend pushrods?

Yes. Those springs have a ton of open pressure. Your stock pushrods wouldn't last very long at all. I'm not even sure how well the lifters will handle that much pressure.

Probably way more srping than needed. Also, in my opinion, there are certain parts I would never put on my car used. Valve springs and clutches come to mind right away. You are spending a bunch of money on all that work. A set of appropriate springs are not that much more.

I would highly recommend bigger pushrods for any spring. The 1206X at 1.8" only will have 360lbs open. You’re not overkilling your combo. Like mentioned before, I would only worry about how much use the springs got and if they were taken care of during install and removal.

We were doing an LS1 Tech sale for our kits. if interested I will give you the same deal. PAC-KS15 for $215.00

I'd run beehives with a hotcam. Better harmonics and more RPM potential. Plus those lobes aren't hell and won't beat down a beehive spring. PSI1511 or PAC1218 come to mind.
