Couple LS heads questions.. Ok guys Im trying to figure out my best bang for buck for some new heads..
Obviously I know about 243 and 799 heads and it seems they go for about 500 bucks..
Right now I made 402/405 all motor on stock heads with-
227/234 .614/.576 113+2
BBK SSI intake
CAI
LG longtubes, no cats
Basically ive got everything besides heads
question is, Is it worth just getting my heads CNC'd?
How far could I safely mill my stock heads without running into PTV clearance?
I noticed that my valvetrain is pretty noisy, right now I have 7.425 pushrods, should I have two different lengths with my cam specs?
If I were to buy a set of 243 or 799 heads and didnt touch them, what kind of power gain could I expect?
