4.050" stroke?

4.050" stroke?

Does anyone know why no manufacturers do a 4.050" stroke LS crank? For most builders, 4.100" seems to be a bridge too far on common LS blocks, so why not split the difference?

4.050" are a popular stroker crank for the hemi with a similar 9.25" deck height, so I'm just curious why this 'middle ground' hasn't been an option the LS world.

You're talking about less than 5 c.i. I don't think there's enough interest in such a small difference

Exactly. You have 4.125, 4.100, 4.000, 3.900, 3.825 strokes and all requiring different pistons with the usual 6.125 rod. Yet another stroke is just not really needed when so many are available.
