Default Oil on the plug threads!!

Recently, I noticed the 'ole girl wasn't pullin' as hard as she used to, so, when time came for the regular oil/filter change, I decided a plug swap was in order as well. After cleaning the K&N real good and droppin' in 5qt's of 15-50, I pulled the old plugs and here's what I found:

cyls. 1, 3, 5 and 7, real nice burn pattern, no problems there.

cyls. 2, 4, and 6, there was a light coating of fresh oil on the spark plug threads (enough to make a drop of oil come off the threads) and the plug burn pattern was darker!! No. 8 came out like the other side, nice tan burn pattern. I swapped in some Bosch Platinum +2's for a slightly hotter spark, and I'm running them through a 1k run. After that, I'm going to pull the pass. side bank again and check for the oil. On a good note, power's back in all RPM ranges, pulls my eyeballs back into my head again (like that!!) She's got 49k miles on her, and 5k on the heads/cam/intake setup.
Now the questions:
1. Should I be concerned with a valve seal/gasket leak?

2. Why only the pass. side bank coming out darker, and only 3 of the 4 plugs?

Appreciate any feedback.

The plugs that come out of my MTI stageII heads all have oil on the threads. The car has 79k. About 35k on these heads. The car runs as good as ever. The burn pattern looks fine on all my plugs. Just oil on the threads. Ive chosen not to sweat the small stuff. I will freshen up my motor in the not too distant future, in the meantime the car went its best ET / mph with this condition.
