Default help choosing a cam

Been reading around about different cams looked at some videos and really like the way the ms3 cam sounds but read some people fly cut the pistons some don't. Really want to know if can run this cam it's a stock heads ws6 lts, 373s, with 3600 stall and ls6 intake. Need some input new to whole ls world and could use some info and what not this isn't a daily driven car. And plans for future mods would probably be nitrous.

Honestly If I were you I would give Brian Tooley a call.

I have a cam almost exactly like the MS3 cam, but I have 4 10's and a 6 - speed trans. With that said I love this cam. With your setup I'd consider something a tad more mild maybe. That's just my opinion

The Thumpr is all about sound, and it is not the best performer. Much better cams out there to choose from depending on your goals with the car.

I have to agree. From what I hear it's mainly a cam for sound more or less, and not the best on power

If you want great sound, as well as making good power and torque without flycutting pistons, etc, look into the Tick Performance SNS Torquemax line.

Our SNS Stage 3 camshaft does not require fly-cutting pistons. It is the largest cam we offer off the shelf I'd recommend for your stall speed and gearing.
