Default ls6 manifold

Hey Guys,

Right now I have the LS6 intake manifold on my car. I was wondering really what's the limit of it until I need to start looking into a Fast. These are the mods I have done to the car now. I want to get around 500 on pump gas and then put 150 shot nitrous.

American racing stainless 1 7/8 long tube headers
American racing 3in ORY
Borla fully adjustable Cat back which is like new.
G5x4 cam
160 degree thermostat
Street tune by HP tuners
Comp dual .650 lift valve springs
chromeoly hardened push rods
ls7 lifters
green top 42lb racing injectors
LS6 intake
85mm maf
smooth bellow
SLP lid

I picked up 15 RWHP going from an LS6 intake to the FAST 92 w/Nick Williams 92mm thorttle body. I've got a stock internal LS6 w/shorty headers and still picked up 15 RWHP. I'm sure the LS6 intake can "handle" more but you WILL pick up if you switch over to the FAST. I'm no where near the HP level you're at either...I went from 385 RWHP to 400 RWHP.

Agreed. Opening up the 78mm throttle opening will benefit you. If you already have all those other mods, you'll notice the upgrade much more than I would on my mere ported heads without all the other stuff

Thanks Guys! I will look into the fast manifold and throttle body. Eventually I'm going to get a 383 stroker kit and some AFR heads
