Default To much Spring?

Wondering if this is to much spring for my new set up,will it hurt the Lifters? A friend gave me a set of Pac=1206 Springs with Titanium retainers

Spring OD: 1.290
Spring ID: 0.680
Seat Pressure: 145 LBS @ 1.800
Open Pressure: 411 LBS @ 1.150
Spring Rate: 409
Max Coil Bind: 1.000
Max Lift: .700

Fresh .10 Over Block
New GM Ls1 Hot Cam 218/227 525/525 112 Lsa
New 7.4 Push Rods
New LS7 Lifter/ with Comp Trunion upgrade
LS2 lifter trays
Fresh 799 Heads/Stock Valves

Wondering if the spring Pressure is to much for my Cam or Lifters, This is my 2nd rebuild over the past year. First one didn't go so well.

I'd go with the PAC 1218 beehive springs if you're using a GM cam... and GM pushrods? Or hardened aftermarket?

You can run the GM blue performance springs with this cam. I just set one up for a guy and runs great with no valvetrain noise. To answer your question yes that is a lot of spring for your cam.

Way more spring than you need. Id get a set of GM blue springs, as already stated.

PAC 1218 are also a good option, but are really not necessary.

Over the weekend the Machine shop already assembled the Heads, Guess I'm going to be running these springs. And again they were Free, down the road I may go with a larger cam..
