Default LS1 Head with LS3 piston

For what I need, I need to run a LS3 piston, with a LS1 head. Anyone see any problems with valve alignment or such?

Im not allowed to run aluminum heads, so i cant run any better heads.

I know its not the best just need to know if they will fit. Machine work is not a problem

LS1 heads are perfectly fine with LS3 pistons, as long as the cam doesn't cause PTV clearance problems, but the LS1 came with aluminum heads. If you can't use aluminum heads, you probably need to find the iron truck heads.

Probes are usually really light.
