Default 5.3 cam selection

I have someone at work putting together a 5.3 for a jeep and he said he wanted the ls1 cam from my 99 z28 but I looked up the specs and 98-00 is different than 01-02 would anyone know which would be better?

FYI, the truck cam will have better low end power, stick with it or go with a aftermarket cam. For a Jeep IF I was set on a LS1 cam I'd go with the 01-02 cam with the lower lsa, that's if he drives it like the stereotypical jeep owner, otherwise the 98-2000 cam with the higher lsa.

I put an ls6 cam in a 5.3 and have been overall disappointed even with a dyno tune. The ls6 cam is better than either ls1 cam. If you're going to go to all the trouble, get recommendations from comp, eps, tick, etc. the parts are cheap compared to doing the work multiple times.
