Default anyone switched from a fast 90 to 102

tried searching but can't seen to find anything. anybody switch from a fast 90 to a 102 and see any gains ? in reality you would think the 102 would pick up power, as long as i ran a 102 tb and 100+ mm lid. just can't seen to find any results so far.

thanks,mark

Yeah I'm theory it should, but if I already had a Fast 90 I wouldn't waste my time and money

I haven't personally done it but here's the rundown. Yes the 102mm will indeed make more power, without any losses. It is a better intake. But that's not to say you'll notice the power gain. I know I can't tell the difference of +/- 12hp.

And I think most will tell you that if you already have a 90mm/92mm fast the swap is not worth the money/time. Good luck.

One of the vendors had a thread on it awhile back and posted dyno results. Not a big difference in peak power (5hp or so)but it picked up 10-15 HP throughout the curve if I remember correctly. I'm not positive about that but I just remember being surprised at how much it gained. I think it was Tony Mamo who posted it.

The 102 is a much better intake and can be ported very nicely for your 408. You should see a noticeable gain and if your looking to squeeze all you can out of your setup then its the only way to go. The 102 can be opened up larger than the 92mm as well and the runners can be shortened if you want to move peak power up a tad.
