Default Will it hold up?

This may need to be moved to the man trans section, but since it was based off a cam installation I figured I'd throw it here (a lot more traffic in here also)

I have a 00 TA w/ full exhaust setup, I plan on adding an LS6 intake then a custom spec'd cam (low 230's 232/236 if I remember correctly) and 3.90 gears. (no heads atm)

Will the stock injectors and fuel pump be enough and will clutch hold up with the added power? I'm probably going to make 380 rwhp, the car will not see the track and I don't drive aggressively too often.

Thanks

You'll be close to 100% duty cycle on the injectors. It'll be ok for now. You'll need injectors when you do anything else. Wouldn't run it like that for six years, but in the short term, it's fine

It may and may not be o.k. You will need to data log with hp or other software to know for sure. I have seem stock injectors and pump not keep up with bolt ons and a tune. Of you can afford to cam the car spend a little extra and find some green tops or LS3/7 injectors. Better safe than BOOM from a lean condition.

So you would def do both fuel pump and injectors or you feel injectors are a must and fuel pump should be fine?

This is one of those things where you will probably get away with it, but IMO why chance it.

Exactly what I was looking for.... I want to do a fairly budget build but not at the risk of some serious damage. When I do the cam I'll def go with injectors and fuel pump

What about the clutch? Will it last? Or is this complete guess work... Car has 68k miles

Clutch is going to depend on how you drive it. At 68k it probably won't last long unless you baby it and run street tires
