Roller Rocker Question I have a 98 Camaro "LS1" I have the BTR SK001 S .660" valve springs in my car and Comp 7955 push rods 7.400" , 5/16 , .80" wall thickness which is stock length I believe. My question is.. Will the Holla Terra YT6645 rockers "which are 1.7" work with my set up. Thanks Phillip
The problem with roller rockers and why they have a bad wrap is people thing you can bolt on a set and go. Your entire valve train needs to be structured with the additional weight taken into consideration. You may need even stiffer springs or better lifters as a result. I would be running 3/8" pushrods in just about any setup short of a specific class racing that didn't allow them. Then there is the problem of aluminum roller rockers don't last long, which is fine in a race motor, but not in a street car.

Even more weight... I'd run stainless steel roller rockers in a solid roller setup.
For the OP - the Yella Terras run well with BTR's Max Pressure springs. I'd run an 11/32" pushrod at least.
