I've got a TSP ported LS6 pump that has less than 10k on it. I planned to use it from the LS1 for my 408. I took it apart to clean it before installing it and found some scratches at the top behind the gears in the housing. Its mainly one scratch that I can feel with my finger nail. I tried posting pictures but my phone won't let me for some reason. I took a stock pump apart as well and it had the same scratches and were honestly worse. Is this a normal thing to happen. Its at the top of the pump slightly to the left behind the gears. Is this normal for a used pump? I'll try again later to get pictures on.
