My old man just bought a new 2002 WS6. It has 300 miles on it. I want to put synthetic oil in. Should I go with synthetic at the 500 mile mark? Or should I wait on using synthetic until the engine is more broken in? Thanks

 

I dont see why you should wait. My SS came factory filled with Castrol Syntec and I know many use Mobil 1 Synthetic.

I also have just a TINY bit of piston slap as opposed to others I have heard that sound like their engines are chewing themselves up inside.

It's your call, but I dont see why you couldn't start right now.
