Polluter v2?
Has anyone here ran the polluter v2 cam from Tick? I've search & look up on tech always came across HP numbers & cant find any other information far as how well it performs at the track or if anyone ran into PTV clearance 853 heads or 243s? & also if anyone spraying 100-150 shot?
Trap speeds vary, but for the most part most full weight F-bodies pull 116-120mph depending on the ability of the driver, rear gear ratio, tires, clutch, suspension etc.
Most full weight C5 Corvette's will trap 118-122mph with the above listed variables, some have been as fast as 123-124mph in great air.
I have had a few C6 LS2 customers trap 126mph with this cam.
All the MPH numbers above are in "cam only" trim.
For this cam to be optimized in a track vehicle, a 4000+ rpm stall should be utilized and I'd prefer a 4400+. 3.90 gears or lower with an auto and 4.10 or lower with a 6 speed.
If you have a 6 speed, be prepared to have to launch your car at 4500-5500rpm or even higher to achieve the best 60' times with this camshaft. As a member above said, "It's a max effort camshaft for stock bottom end LS1/LS6 engines and all the required supporting mods are required to run well."
