Finally took my intake off tonight as my vacuum leak was getting horrible.
I already re-did the entire pcv system to make sure it was sealed, the only thing I haven't fixed yet is the part where the actual pcv valve goes into is collapsed. I remember seeing a write-up of a guy that made something out of parts from home depot.. can anyone point me to that thread?
I believe it was mainly leaking from the map sensor in the back. Photos below. I will try to get a new gasket from gm tomorrow.
Do I need to change the gaskets under the knock sensors as well? I bought those but I figure the new 8 intake port gaskets and the 2 foam gaskets will do the job..
In one of the photos below you can see my hand holding some random vacuum line that goes into the ac harness and plugs to the MAP. wtf is that?
Thanks!

One more question.. on the passenger side of the engine (2000 camaro), there is a sensor unplugged, I'm assuming for the pas EGR valve (upgraded ls6 intake).
But I noticed there is also and unplugged sensor on the DRIVER side of the engine near where the fuel line connects. I see no port that this could plug into. Is this also an old EGR sensor?

The pic of the vacuum line in your hand is for the the HVAC system. It controls the trap door for the heater core or the A/C. The knock sensor gaskets are to keep oil from leaking out of the valley cover. The 8 "O" ring gaskets for the intake to heads should be all you need.
The Plug on the driver side of the motor on the fuel rail is probably for the air pump solenoid.

I HIGHLY recommend you consider the LS6 PCV conversion.
