Default Too many build options and numbers!?

Hey folks, to start sorry if anything I ask is repetive to some threads that may be out there... Heres the thing Im building the ls1 in my 2000 z28 years overdue. All in all, this is basically a hobby I really cant afford so its a painfully slow process acquiring parts, at least Ive got lots of time to think.. So far, stock bottom end in engine, Ive acquired a pair of Patriot 5.3 ported heads with new 2.02/1.57 valves, seats and springs that claim to be good over .600 lift. (mainly for the compression bump, should be close to 11to1). Budget friendly ls6 intake manifold. Hooker long tubes 1.75 primarys and plan on dual 3" side outs with straight through mufflers. Its a m6 car and will be getting probably 3.93 rear gears. My question here is I run at 6-8000 ft above sea level and am having a hard time picking a cam for this street build given I dont what any ptv issues and all the info out there seems to be spec'd with 1.7 arms (Id wonder about a milder cam with 1.8), also questions of what # injectors, are going to be adequate, also how big of a TB will even do any good on a Ls6 intake. Now, I understand theres a bunch of good info out there on each individual question but as a single unit, whos got any experience building at high altitude as things seem to react quite a bit differently up in the thin air? P.s Im a little "new" to this forum, anythings appreciated!

As far as the cam goes are you looking to maintain mostly stock like bottom end power or are you more concerned with all out performance?

Id like to retain some bottom end power, for now Im afraid given how much power these motors let loose with just breathing alone that if I go too far Ill blow up my 110,xxx mile block in a hurry with my lead foot. So drive ability is must, but all in all Im kinda hoping for around 400 or up whp (preferably high torque to match). I was mostly looking in the 224 to 228 with lift well under .600 as I thought to understand that's where ptv clearances get low on some of em? Please correct me if that's wrong at all? Is that range of power easily accessible with comfortably street able (ie stop and go traffic usable)? Id figure so since a (say '04 z06) can run like that with a few bolt ons at sea level? Thanks

P.S> How do you like the TrueTrac in your 10 bolt?? That is my end game with my z. My Dads got a 500whp sn-95 with Truetrac 8.8, and man that thing tracks so straight and smooth for a stang!
